On Tuesday the 6th of November  2018 Mr Skippy (Chris) came to teach us how to skip in different ways. The different ways he taught us were; pretzel skipping, cross skipping, hop skipping and running skipping. We all had lots of fun skipping and some of us learnt to skip. We now have lots of skipping ropes and everyone loves them and plays with them loads. Also we went to Malton secondary school for a STEM fair.Everyone all really enjoyed it. The last thing is BODMAS/BIDMAS. We learnt a song to remember all of the feachers.

Hello and welcome to the first  blog of the new academic year. So far, this year, class four and three went on a trip all the way to Etz Synagogue, Leeds, all the teachers who went, were of course, astounded with all the new and interesting facts of which we learnt and our impeccable behavior.

We have been enjoying our Science topic this term and our favourite lesson so far was learning all about our blood. We even made blood!

Crucial Crew

Last week, on Friday, we went to  Crucial crew. Crucial crew is a morning/afternoon in RAF Leeming  where we got told emergency situations and how to keep safe during them. There were many informative ‘stations’ where we got told things like peer pressure, drugs, fire, water safety, not to play around train lines, and the charity St Barnardos of whom they told us we could talk to-no exceptions.

We cannot wait for next half term as it is the run up to this years Christmas play ‘An Out of this World Christmas’.

Don’t forget rehearsals will be starting Tuesday 6th November straight after school and finishing at 4:30pm.

We have so much to look forward to next half term…..
