About Our School

 

Huby CE (VC) Primary School is a small, popular school situated in the village of Huby, 10 miles north of York. 

• The school was built in 1967 and consists of three classrooms in the main building, a mobile classroom housing two classes and an open-air swimming pool. The school has extensive playing fields, a wildlife garden and has some fabulous outdoor play equipment.

• The school has good IT provision. Children have access to a suite of Google chrome books and iPads all with broadband internet access, and every classroom has visualisers and interactive boards or whiteboards.

Owl Class - Year 3 and 4

Red Kite Class - Year 5 and 6

 

All new Reception children are given a ‘buddy’ who will guide and support them during the first few days at Huby. However, often the friendships lasts for a very long time!
