At Huby Church of England (VC) Primary School, Art provides children with opportunities to explore, create and express themselves, developing their skills, creativity and confidence along the way. We use the Kapow Primary Art and Design scheme to provide a broad and progressive curriculum, ensuring that children experience a range of artistic techniques, materials, processes, artists and creative traditions.

Art gives our children opportunities to let their light shine by developing their own ideas, taking creative risks and expressing their individuality. Through exploring and responding to art, children develop Courage, Connection and Curiosity, while also developing their spiritual awareness through opportunities to reflect, appreciate beauty and see the world from different perspectives.
