Computing
At Huby Church of England (VC) Primary School, Computing enables children to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to thrive in an increasingly digital world. Through a broad and progressive curriculum, children learn to use technology creatively, safely and purposefully, while developing their understanding of computer science, information technology and digital literacy.
Computing provides opportunities for children to let their light shine by solving problems, creating, communicating and exploring new ideas. Through their learning, children develop Courage to try new approaches, Connection through collaboration and communication, and Curiosity about how technology works and how it can be used to make a positive difference.
Our long-term plans and subject intent explain in more detail how Computing is taught at Huby and how our curriculum reflects our vision, values and commitment to helping every child flourish.
